Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Commitment to Publication Ethics

Scholarly Summit is committed to maintaining ethical, transparent, and responsible publishing practices across its journals. We aim to protect the integrity of the scholarly record and promote fairness, accountability, and trust throughout the research publication process.

Originality and Research Integrity

Authors must submit original work, acknowledge all sources appropriately, and disclose any relevant prior publication or overlapping submissions. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, falsification, and other forms of research misconduct are unacceptable. Manuscripts may be screened for originality and assessed for potential ethical concerns.

Authorship and Conflicts of Interest

Authorship must accurately reflect scholarly contributions, and all listed authors must approve the final manuscript. Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose relevant competing interests that could influence their work, assessments, or editorial decisions.

Peer Review and Editorial Responsibility

Manuscripts are evaluated according to the relevant journal's peer review policy. Editors and reviewers are expected to assess submissions objectively, maintain confidentiality, and disclose conflicts of interest. Editorial decisions should be based on scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and methodological quality, without inappropriate commercial or personal influence.

Research Ethics and Data Transparency

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements. Authors must provide ethical approval, informed consent, and supporting documentation where required. Authors are responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and appropriate reporting of their research data and findings.

Scholarly Summit supports open-access publishing to make scholarly research freely accessible and reusable. Articles published by Scholarly Summit are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0).

Complaints, Misconduct, and Appeals

Scholarly Summit takes allegations of publication misconduct seriously. Concerns involving plagiarism, authorship, research integrity, or editorial conduct are assessed fairly and based on available evidence. Authors and other relevant parties may raise complaints or appeal editorial decisions in accordance with the applicable procedures.

Corrections and Retractions

Scholarly Summit seeks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the published scholarly record. Where significant errors or ethical concerns are identified, appropriate action may include a correction, an expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the circumstances and supporting evidence.

Ethical Accountability

Authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher share responsibility for upholding ethical standards throughout the publication process. Scholarly Summit aims to address ethical concerns consistently, protect the integrity of published research, and support responsible scholarly communication.
